I Need to Be Alone

A solemn expression appeared on his face, “Bitch, it is fucking difficult to work out the marriage,” he divulged, “I’ve been discovering her new personality every single day which I didn’t know about before being married. Every day I discover her new disposition. Sometimes I don’t even recognize her. I don’t say that I’ve discovered everything is bad, but it certainly gives enough food for my noodle to ponder over and over. I really don’t recommend you to marry anyone unless you can find the right person, but it is the most difficult business in one’s life, I tell you, because you won’t know her rightly until you live with her for a certain time. When you have boyfriend and girlfriend relationship, it’s kind of magic. You always have a good time with her because you spend only several hours with her per day. You can be alone and enjoy your private time after leaving her. The bottom line is that when you see her only for part of a day; you can only get to know about her infinitesimal disposition. She only reveals a tiny part of her disposition to you. But alas, after being married, she suddenly changes her personality and reveals everything. And it’s not everything good to eyes, trust me. I really think the most perfect relationship is boyfriend and girlfriend. After marriage, the thing just gets complicated and intricate.”

He gulped a bottle of beer and carried on, “The most irritating thing is that she always calls me to ask where I am after work, because she knows my job finishes at 6:00 prompt. I feel like a galley slave whenever I receive her call. Since being married, I’ve never had my own time. Sometimes I get so annoyed and stressed out – that’s why I decided to go to a gym every day after work, so that I can be alone at least a couple of hours a day; that’s why I chose the gym that is quite far away from my apartment. Patricia said I am crazy to choose this gym, since it is expensive and very far from my apartment; she’s reproached me that I can find a cheaper gym around my neighborhood. But I don’t care even if she disapproves of me or even if she disparages me, because I need to be alone for unmitigated relaxation sometimes; otherwise, I’ll be a paranoid bedlamite and end up in a mental asylum. Really, bitch, I sometimes get irrepressibly frustrated. When I am under this spell, I usually don’t answer my mobile phone. Of course, she yells at me hysterically when I go back to the apartment.”

She Is Not My Blood Line

“Bitch, I can tell you one thing: You shouldn’t marry unless you find the right person. Above all, you ought to do everything that your heart desires before marrying. That’s all I can say about marriage.”

“I thought she was the right person for you, and so did you. You’d been with her over six years before marrying her.”

“Yap, you are right, bitch. I’d been with her for years before deciding to get married. I thought I knew her very well; however, I’ve discovered the truth: I didn’t know anything about her personality before I married her.”

“What do you mean by that?”

“Let me explain clearly, bitch. Before I married her, I saw her almost every day, but I’d spent time with her only four or five hours a day: just part of a day, so to speak. Thus, after leaving her, I was free and had my own time to enjoy. But since I married her, I have to share my private time with her as well. When I wake up, she is always there; when I eat lunch, she always insists on accompanying me; when I come back home from work, she is always there; when I eat dinner, she is always there; when I go out, she always accompanies me; when I go to bed, she always sleeps right beside me, and so on and so forth. It is suffocating to share everything with a stranger, trust me. Of course, she is my wife now, so she apparently isn’t a stranger to me in a sense, but I’m talking about before meeting her. She was a total stranger to me because she is not my blood line. Do you understand what I’m aiming at?”

“Yes, as clear as God’s blue sky. I’m getting interested. Spill out everything, Ramon! All my attention is yours. Go on!” I nodded encouragingly.

I Never Forget That Experience

It was around 11:00 p.m. when we sailed into Chilly Willys. The place was a full of drunken people shouting at their top of lungs happily. Many sexy strippers were parading around, shaking their asses lasciviously. Ramon found a table right beside the main dance stage, so that we could observe them from an agreeable angle.

He ordered our drinks and said reminiscently, “Bitch, remember our five-consecutive-nights orgy at the Men’s Club? I tell you, it was the greatest time I’ve spent at the strip club in my entire pimp life. I was so happy and drank too much. And I confess your Hungarian cunt is the most mesmerizing stripper whom I’ve ever seen in my entire pimp life. Oh, man, I still can’t believe in her unearthly beauty. I’ve invaded a great deal of strip clubs around the world and even invaded Las Vegas, but I’ve never found such beauty. Trust me; your Hungarian cunt is the most gorgeous stripper in the world. You are fucking lucky, man, ha-ha-ha.”

“Yes, she was ravishingly beautiful. Remember I danced with her twelve songs in a row because I simply couldn’t stop dancing with her? I was utterly captivated by her, ha-ha-ha. It was the best dance I’ve ever performed at strip clubs around the world in my life. Yap, I totally agree with you: she is the most enthralling stripper walking on two legs under the sun!”

He was shaking his heads violently with his right hand on his temple, “Fucking Shogo! I never forget that experience. Besides, her sister, oh, man, she was so gorgeous, too! I danced with her, remember? You can’t believe how I touched her ass, teats, and kissed her whole body vigorously. I danced with her like a reckless savage – it was barbarian dancing, believe me, ha- ha-ha.”

He ordered another beer and continued, “Bitch, I am fucking thirsty. Anyway, I really appreciate you for visiting me again. It’s outstanding for me to have you around here in our first year of marriage. Patricia is very happy to have you at our apartment, too. Thanks, man, for staying with us. Thank God for giving us a wonderful opportunity to enjoy watching lascivious cunts dancing again, amen!”

He looked toward heaven with his moistened eyes for a couple of seconds. And he resumed, “Here is obviously not like Men’s Club, of course, but here has at least some libidinous cunts, so just let me know who you’re gonna want to dance with tonight, okay? Look, that cunt dancing now; she has OREO nipples. Get the fuck off the stage, fucking OREO nipples! Ha-ha-ha!”

I burst out laughing at his remark, “Yeah, she indeed has monstrous nipples. I’ve never seen such repulsive nipples in my entire peregrination, ha-ha-ha. By the way, you’ve never told me about you married life. How has your marriage been going on so far?”

Don’t Answer the Stupid Question

We discussed about what she has told us over the dinner.

I prattled excitedly, “Can you beat it? She’s made a Japanese friend in Vancouver. It’s a strange coincidence. Likewise, we became friends in Vancouver. Over all, she loves Vancouver!”

“Calm down, bitch. Of course, everyone loves Vancouver, which is the one of the fucking most amazing cities in the world. In fact, someday I myself would love to live in Vancouver again. As a matter of fact, I’ve considered getting a job there in five years time.”

“Yeah, it’ll be awesome, Ramon. I’ll try to be there in five years, so that we can resume our old crazy lives together again.”

“Shogo, please don’t encourage him. He has a good job here, and it might be difficult for him to find a job and support a family there. I’ve never been there, so naturally, I want to visit there someday, but living there is a totally different matter.”

“Bitch, I don’t care what she’ll fucking say, or even if she refuses my idea flatly. I hereby swear in the name of Virgin Mary, I’ll live in Vancouver at any costs to resume my old crazy adventures with you, amen!” he made the sign of cross over himself.

“Stop Ramon! Please behave decently. You’re talking so loud. Everyone is watching us. Please be civilized!” she was getting peeved.

“Who cares?” he guffawed.

“Shogo, when are you planning to marry? Don’t you want to marry?” she suddenly asked.

“I don’t want to marry right now. In fact, I can’t think about it, because I’m really focused on writing – I can’t think about anything else other than writing. When I am recognized as a writer, I might start thinking about it. Just first things first, you know.”

“Shogo, I understand what you’re talking about, but you should merry someday because marriage is the most blissful thing in one’s life. Don’t you think so, Ramon?” she mockingly glanced at him.

He was embarrassed at her remark and jabbered, “Bitch, don’t believe what she said. Marriage is hell, I tell you. So, please don’t marry, but enjoy your single life as long as you can. Marriage is a death sentence, ha-ha-ha.”

“Ramon! Please stop talking in this way and never say marriage is hell. Understood?” she reproved.

“Anyway, while I lived in Vancouver, I never saw Mexicans and Japanese having a good relationship with each other, aside from my own case. Do you believe the strange chemistry streams down between Mexicans and Japanese, as she put it?” I brought it up again.

“I believe Mexicans and Japanese are attracted to each other. Just look at you, Shogo. The answer can be found easily in your life. You have many good friends in Mexico, for instance, Ramon, Gerardo, Jorge, etc.,” she said.

“Maybe so, but the strange thing is that I have never met any single Japanese bird who has a Mexican friend in Japan anyway.”

“By the way, Shogo, you have to know about Ramon’s weird way of choosing friends. You’ve known him for years and known his friends as well. As you know, Ramon doesn’t have any normal friends, I mean decent friends. He only has crazy friends like Henri. I am sure that Henri is the craziest man I’ve ever met in my life. Ramon is somehow attracted to eccentric people all the time. I’ve thought you are a very nice person, and your heart is so pure. However, when I think you are the most special friend for him, and Ramon and you have been getting along with each other famously for years, I can’t help but ask myself the question, ‘Might Shogo be crazier than Henri?’ I’ve started suspecting that you behave as presently as possible when I am around with you, but when you and Ramon are alone, you somehow change your personality and start showing your true colors. Am I right, Shogo?” she was laughing.

“Don’t answer the stupid question, bitch! Also, don’t listen to her either because she’s fucking drunk. Please forgive her, ha-ha-ha.”

It’s Pleasure to Meet You

When we came to La Casa del Agua, a beautiful hostess greeted us. Ramon asked if they served fresh shrimp today because he knows I love it. She informed us presently that they serve very delicious shrimp and juicy steak as well.

The sight of me fascinated her. She asked amiably, “Where are you from, my friend?”

She was beaming, “I thought so. I love Japanese; indeed, I have a Japanese friend, too. How long have you known each other, guys?”

“We’ve known each other over nine years, and I’m staying at his apartment with them,” I replied.

“So, obviously, you, guys, are good friends to each other, eh?”

“More than that. He is my best friend,” Ramon chimed in.

She was so delighted to know of our good friendship. And continued, “As I told you, I have a Japanese friend; actually, she is one of my best friends. I met her in Vancouver three years ago. I love Vancouver very much. I’ve not traveled too much, but I really think Vancouver is the most beautiful city in the world. They have everything I love; I especially love Vancouver’s admirable landscape. Someday I would love to go back there. Anyway, there are a lot of Japanese and Mexicans. A strange thing happened while I was there. I had witnessed that somehow Mexicans and Japanese were getting along with each other famously there. Many Mexicans liked Japanese and vice-versa. I assume a strange chemistry was going on between Japanese and Mexicans. Maybe, their cultures are diametrically opposite from each other – that’s why they were attracted to each other like a magnet. I can’t explain this strange phenomenon. Everywhere I went, I saw Japanese and Mexicans were together having a good time.”

“Maybe, you’re right about it. As you said, our culture is totally different from Japanese culture: Mexicans are extremely friendly, and Japanese are extremely polite,” Ramon nodded affirmatively.

“Anyway, it’s pleasure to meet you, Shogo. My name is Monica. You can come back here anytime you want. Maybe, I can show you around Playa Del Carmen. If you have time, just let me know. I am always available for you. Now you know where you can reach me. Enjoy your dinner, my friend. See you around.”
